JYSK donates more than one million Danish kroner to Africa and Haiti
On Saturday night, JYSK donated 1,095,000 Danish kroner to “Danmarks Indsamling 2010”, The Denmark Appeal 2010. The appeal is organised by 12 of Denmark's largest aid organisations, and this year they have chosen to collect money for projects involving women in Africa and the earthquake victims in Haiti.
The Denmark Appeal 2010 is also a large television show on Danish national television where JYSK founder Lars Larsen donated about one million Danish kroner - just as he has done every year in recent years.
